Current CO-OP Members qualify for a Special Enrollment Period to enroll and pay for a 2016 Health Insurance Plan

Carson City, NV - December 21, 2015

Since Nevada Health CO-OP plans are ending on December 31, 2015, current CO-OP members qualify for a special enrollment period (SEP).

Current CO-OP members who have not enrolled in a new plan for 2016, and would like to have coverage effective January 1, 2016, have until December 31, 2015 to enroll in a new plan and pay their first month of premium.

CO-OP members must contact the Federally-Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) by calling 1-800-318-2596 (TTY: 1-855-889-4325) to take advantage of this special enrollment period. When calling the FFM, make sure to identify yourself as a current Nevada Health CO-OP member who is eligible for the special enrollment period and request that the operator check to see whether you are eligible for this special enrollment period.
