Business and Industry Division of Industrial Relations today announced that the
2016 Sixth Annual Nevada Workers' Compensation Educational Conference will be
held on August 18-19 at the Tuscany Suites Hotel in Las Vegas. Employers,
employees, insurance companies and producers, attorneys, third party
administrators, health care providers, medical and rehabilitation
professionals, researchers, and anyone with an interest in the Nevada workers'
compensation program will receive valuable information at this conference.
The program will
feature presentations and workshops led by the Nevada Workers' Compensation
Section and other experts from state government and the private sector. The
focus of the program will be on recent developments, common questions, and
significant aspects of workers’ compensation in Nevada.
The conference will
include an exhibit hall with various service providers, as well as opportunities
to meet senior Workers' Compensation Section staff and other Nevada workers'
compensation professionals.
Application is pending
for 10 hours of continuing education credit for attorneys, rehabilitation
providers, and insurance producers, and the conference has been approved for
human resources professionals (SHRM credits). For other professional
disciplines a certificate of completion will be provided.

The Nevada Department
of Business and Industry Workers' Compensation Section administers the Nevada

workers' compensation professionals and medical providers in our state is
