
Perry
Faigin serves as Deputy Director for the State of Nevada Department of Business
and Industry, where he has contributed over eight years of service in various
leadership and administrative capacities. Before his permanent appointment,
Perry served as Interim Deputy Director and previously held key positions as
Deputy Administrator for both the Division of Industrial Relations and the Real
Estate Division. He began his public service career with the State of Nevada in
2016 as Chief of Administration for the Nevada Housing Division.
Perry brings extensive experience in public administration,
fiscal management, budget planning, human resources, and policy development. He
has collaborated closely with agency directors, division administrators, and
the Division of Human Resource Management on a wide range of department-wide
initiatives. His areas of expertise include budget and finance, operational
logistics, information technology, personnel, contract management, and the
review and development of statutory and regulatory frameworks (NRS/NAC).
In addition to his responsibilities with the Department,
Perry currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for Home
Means Nevada, Inc., a state-affiliated nonprofit organization that oversees the
Foreclosure Mediation Assistance Program. He earned the designation of
Certified Public Manager (CPM) in 2020, reflecting his commitment to
professional development and excellence in public sector leadership.
Perry is also a veteran of the United States Navy Reserve,
where he served for eight years as a Supply Storekeeper with Naval Mobile
Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18. He was mobilized in support of Operation
Allied Force in 1999 and deployed to Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily in
support of U.S. Sixth Fleet flight operations.
