Las Vegas Clark County Library District - West Charleston Library
The West Charleston Library is a large public library that offers traditional services for both adults and children. It offers free wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi), and a Health Sciences special collection as well as a 276-seat lecture hall. The library is located next to the Charleston Campus of the College of Southern Nevada. Nevada Industry Excellence
NVIE is a non-profit organization connected through a national network of manufacturers. As a NIST MEP approved Center, NVIE is the official representative of the MEP National Network in Nevada and also serves as the industrial extension program of the Nevada System of Higher Education. Our field staff have an average of 28 years in industry leadership positions. Our extended staff of third party experts helps us bring timely and focused services to companies based on their specific needs and goals.
Nevada Small Business Development Center (Nevada SBDC)
The Nevada Small Business Development Center is a statewide business assistance outreach program of the University of Nevada, Reno, College of Business. We provide a wide variety of technical assistance to support Nevada Business. The purpose of the Nevada Small Business Development Center is to guide and assist entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses in today's dynamic market.
Nevada Women's Business Center
At the Nevada Women’s Business Center, we are dedicated to providing free business education, training and support to help you succeed in business. Whether you own your own business or are just thinking about it we can help you.
SCORE
SCORE offers the nation's largest, network of free, expert business mentors. If you're just starting a business, SCORE mentors can provide the practical action plan, education and tools you need to open your doors and establish a customer base. Already own a business? Our volunteer mentors can help identify ways to increase profit, improve employee and customer satisfaction, and achieve work/ life balance.
Sierra Accelerator for Growth & Entrepreneurship
SAGE offers a variety of workshops and webinars, as well as individual consulting and mentoring. There is a difference between traditional grants such as R01s and and SBIR/STTR grants – the expected outcomes under SBIR/STTR have to lead to commercial application.
Small Business Support Center
Located in the Historic Westside School, 330 W. Washington Ave., the Small Business Support Center offers help for start-ups. The center can help with business plans, mentorship and more. It also includes a resource room with access to conference rooms, printers, computers and more.
StartUp Vegas
StartUp Vegas is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to expanding the tech and startup ecosystem in Las Vegas by building infrastructure needed to help the community expand and thrive.
The Resource Center
The Resource Center is open to Certified Diverse Business owners, Nevada Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) providing services in highway, transportation, construction and related industries seeking or performing work on public works. This “one-stop-shop” resource provides the resources or access to each piece that you will need to develop your business to work on or begin working on public work projects.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.Through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations, SBA delivers its services to people throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin Islands and Guam.
