Berna Rhodes-Ford, Esq.

Berna Rhodes-Ford is a Las Vegas attorney practicing in the areas of corporate and employment law.

Rhodes-Ford has served as a law clerk to the Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit and staff attorney to the Honorable Yvette McGee Brown of the Franklin County (Ohio) Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court.  She has also served as Legislative Assistant to the Honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson, United States House of Representatives, 30th District.

Commissioner Rhodes-Ford is committed to the well-being of this State’s citizens.  She has served on the Nevada State Advisory Committee of the United States Commission on Civil Rights and on the Nevada Advisory Board of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  Commissioner Rhodes-Ford is passionate about helping business owners succeed and has been involved in the Southern Nevada Chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners, holding many positions, including President.  In addition, she serves as Chair of the Nevada Forum of Women’s Business Enterprise Council – West.

Ms. Rhodes-Ford obtained undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.  She recently completed her tenure on SMU’s Alumni Board and as President of its Las Vegas Alumni Chapter.  Ms. Rhodes-Ford received her juris doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law.

Ms. Rhodes-Ford and her husband, Dr. Aaron D. Ford, Esq., raise(d) three sons and a nephew.

Myisha Y. Williams
Vice Chair

Myisha Williams is the founding member and president of MYS Project & Brand Management, a woman- and minority-owned professional services organization. She has spent the past decade leading high-stakes programs and diverse teams across various technical industries. Established in 2014, the business has seen exponential growth over the past four years. Myisha credits professional and community partnerships for the organization’s early success.

Her drive for success is fueled by her passion for service though advocacy. Myisha currently sits as the Vice Chair for the Women’s Business Enterprise Council West (WBEC-West) Nevada Forum, an MBE Ambassador for the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council (WRMSDC) and on the Business Council for the Urban Chamber of Commerce as well as Marketing Committees for local community organizations.

Myisha prides herself on being both a lifetime learner and educator and often calls upon skills acquired from a post-secondary degree and concentrated graduate-level coursework in Education at the University of California, San Diego. Her current focus is building and enhancing strategic professional partnerships that jointly benefit business and community.

Yolanda Flores, MD

Yolanda Flores, MD, MMM, MS, FACP, Internal Medicine, is the medical director for Home Care Plus and Family Health Care Services, Southwest Medical Associates. She manages the program for high-risk patients to receive health care in their home to reduce hospitalization time and costs.

Her education is extensive with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California at Riverside; Masters’ of Science in Biological Sciences from the California State Polytechnic University; and Doctor of Medicine from University of Kansas School of Medicine. She also obtained her masters of medical management from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. Flores was also awarded the National Hispanic Medical Association Physician Leadership Health Care Policy Fellowship.

Janelle Conine

Janelle Conine is a Marketing Coordinator for the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority who manages social media, the Paws$Passengers Program and the Kindness Takes Flight team. Janelle has worked for the Airport Authority since 2011, specializing in customer service programs.

In 2009, Janelle moved from California to Nevada to become involved in her father's restaurant business. By being a part of the family business for 2 years in a management role, Janelle was able to gain essential business experience while she continued to develop strong leadership skills.

Sports have played a major role in Janelle's life. After accepting a scholarship from California State University of Bakersfield, she played collegiate basketball for four years. During that time, she won regionals and gained an opportunity to play in the NCAA Division II Elite 8 Championship. Soon after, Janelle was selected to be part of the coaching staff, where she was an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach for CSUB for 4 years until returning to Reno.

Janelle is a graduate of CSUB with a bachelor's degree in Business and a master's degree in Public Administration. Janelle is proud to be currently living in her hometown of Reno, Nevada.

Hasaan Azam

Hasaan Azam is the Manager of Air Service Development and Cargo Business Development for Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RTIA).  He has more than 11 years of Air Service Development experience. Hasaan began his professional aviation career in 2007 with Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport as a Market Development Specialist. In 2010, Hasaan joined RTIA as an Air Service Development Analyst.  He returned to Dallas in 2013 to work for Sabre Airline Solutions as Account Director of Market Intelligence Product. During his short 16 months at Sabre, Hasaan managed a total of 150 global accounts and represented Sabre in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Hasaan was hired back at RTIA in the fall of 2014 and has been with the company ever since. Since his return to RTIA, the airport has seen a significant growth in passenger traffic, hitting a four million passenger mark in 2017. In addition, Hasaan played a significant role in bringing Volaris, JetBlue Airways, Frontier Airlines and Sun Country Airlines at RTIA. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in Marketing from University of Texas.  In addition, Hasaan is the founder and president of Northern Nevada PAK American Association.

Dr. E. Donald Chaney

Reverend Dr. D. Edward Chaney is the son of the late Reverend Dr. William E. Chaney and Dr. Florence Williams Chaney.  He is a 1987 graduate of Sumter High School in Sumter, South Carolina. After graduation, He entered the United States Navy where he served actively for four years. After being honorably discharged, he matriculated to Limestone College in Gaffney, SC where in 1994 he received the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Dr. Chaney received his Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, SC in May of 1999. In May of 2014, Doctor Chaney received the Doctor of Ministry degree focusing on Collaborative Leadership in the 21st Century from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Chaney retired in 2011 with over 22 years of Service as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves. He is a Board Member for The Nevada Health Centers, Inc and the Las Vegas Urban League. Dr. Chaney is the Senior Pastor of Second Baptist Church of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Michael Flores

Michael Flores joined the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) in November 2017 as the chief of staff. In this position, he works closely with the chancellor to ensure outcomes for the planning and implementation of programs, events, and initiatives. He also assists with NSHE government affairs efforts and day-to-day operations of the System offices.

Prior his employment with NSHE, Flores served as the director of government affairs and communications at the College of Southern Nevada. He previously held positions as press secretary and political consultant to former Congressman Steven Horsford and as state director for Reform Immigration for America, as well as a graduate advocate coordinator for Workforce Connections.

In 2010, Flores founded the non-profit organization, Nevada Youth Network, to provide homework help and recreational programming to children living in the Sherman Gardens Public Housing Development in Las Vegas.

Flores attended the College of Southern Nevada before earning his bachelor’s in Public Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Jetoon Patel-Ghai

Jetoon Patel-Ghai is currently employed with Ntooitive Digital, a digital marketing and technology firm as their Business Operations Manager.

Jetoon began her career as a financial representative in Montreal, Canada before moving to Las Vegas in 2006. She has served as the operations manager for several investment firms, providing her the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the financial services industry. Jetoon holds a Life and Health and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses. Jetoon earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor of Finance from the John Molson School of Business. 

Outside of the office, Jetoon is passionate about community service. She served as a board member for Friends of India, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing the Indian culture to Las Vegas. She served a local Le Tip chapter as Membership Chair and attributes her election to her strong leadership skills and systematic business integration. Jetoon’s passion for building relationships has allowed her to excel through all of her business and nonprofit endeavors, making positive change in the community she serves. Jetoon is happily married and has been a member of the Las Vegas community for more than 10 years.

Adleen B. Stidhum

Adleen B. Stidhum is the Purchasing Manager for Clark County, Nevada, which is a dynamic and innovative organization dedicated to providing top-quality service with integrity, respect and accountability.   Ms. Stidhum has over 20 years of procurement experience in the public sector and 7 years in the casino industry.   Her work is focused on operational efficiency, as well as maintaining a diversified pool of suppliers and working with developing businesses that present an interest in doing business with Clark County. Ms. Stidhum works with a great team of purchasing professionals who plan and organize Supplier Diversity program activities and coordinate participation in the community and other local agency events.

Adleen oversees the Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP) designed to educate small businesses on how to do business and obtain contracts with Clark County. Ms. Stidhum continues to serve, partner and collaborate with other government, state and federal purchasing agencies and community resources organization as it pertains to Nevada businesses
